The Door is Open

I’ve asked for this life for years.

A life with more adventure. 

More like-minded people.

More moments I feel ALIVE.

And I’ve had them.
The energy. The connection. That feeling of this is it.

I find myself never wanting those moments to end.

Still wishing for more adventure. More like-minded people.

But now that I’ve experienced the very things I had been asking for, I realize what I truly wanted was a life where those moments happen more often.

And I’m starting to see they can.
They are already right in front of me.

But here’s the catch..
They don’t always come with a big sign that says ADVENTURE or NEW FRIENDS.

Sometimes they look more like...

“Hey, want to come hit a workout with me and my buddy?”

“We’re having a beach bonfire tonight if you want to join.”

And lately, I’ve found myself saying no more often than not.

Isn’t this exactly what I’ve been asking for?

The door is wide open.
And I’m standing in the hallway.

All I have to do is walk through.

The very thing I dreamt of is already here.
I just need to say yes.

Maybe you’re like me and don’t always recognize the blessings right in front of you.

Maybe the things you’ve been asking for are already within reach.

Only a yes away.
A conversation in disguise.
A subtle shift in how you choose to live.
