Opportunity in Disguise

Opportunity in Disguise

Do you ever wake up thinking,

"I know there has got to be more to life than this. I know I am capable of more."

If you’re anything like me, you do.

Here’s what I’ve noticed over the past few years…

We as humans are creatures of habit.

We seek comfort and survival from deep primitive wiring.

In modern life where comfort is EXTREMELY high…

Many of us have sunnnnnnnnnnk into this monotonous daily routine of comfort.

But what if I told you that opportunity was hiding in disguise… In the unknowns of life.

Are you following?

The same feelings of nervousness that come over us whenever we are entering the unknown… When you look a littttttttttttle deeper under the surface…

There is this light. That is opportunity.

You poke it. A rush of emotions comes over you. You feel nervous. Joy. Fear. Excitement. Restless. Heightened.

But don’t let that stop you from taking the chance.

An opportunity in disguise might look like quitting that “secure” job you dread to go all in on a business.

Taking a year sabbatical from work to travel Europe despite it “not being the right time.”

Selling your belongings, packing a bag, and moving to a place where you know no one.

Recommitting to your health again, knowing that those around you will judge.

Maybe you take off on a whim for a 5000+ mile journey on a week’s notice → 2nd guess the whole trip the night before → Travel 8 new states with zero plans → Climb the tallest mountain in the United States with no training → Return home after 2 weeks CHANGED FOREVER.

Specific? Sure. Fitting? Yes.

But if I’ve learned anything, it’s that opportunity often disguises itself as fear, self-doubt, nervousness, anxiousness, excitement, and discomfort.

Fear comes from the enemy. Self-doubt comes from the enemy.

Take the jump.

Trust that the dots will connect for you.

The familiar comfort you know will always be there if you choose to return.

One life. Endless Possibilities.

With belief,

Ethan
